 India is home to several mountain ranges that traverse its vast geographical expanse. Here are some of the major mountain ranges in India:

Himalayas: The Himalayas form the northern border of India, stretching across several states including Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, and Arunachal Pradesh. This mighty range is known for its towering peaks, including Mount Everest, the highest peak in the world.
